It's a boy!!
We actually found out a few weeks ago, but we've been a bit pre-occupied with our transition to Pure Michigan. So....here's how it went down: We had our ultrasound tech put the "gender-defining" picture in a sealed envelope. Then we trotted down the street and had a lovely BBQ dinner at Chicago Q (also our last dinner as Chicago residents). We popped open the envelope before our apps arrived, and there, beneath a post-it note reading "congratulations" was our son, spread eagle, proudly flying his....well, let's just say the ultra sound picture resembled a certain nirvana cover.
I (Tom) promptly flagged down the waitress and kindly asked her...
"Excuse me, miss. Would you mind taking a picture of us holding our son's penis?"
She was a little stunned, but managed to snap a few good pics.

And here's the belly progress at 22 weeks. He's getting bigger and stronger daily. We're feeling kicks allllll the time.
